Gary has an infrastructure, project finance, management consultancy and accountancy background with board experience at Main List, AIM and private companies and investment vehicle experience using private, public and DFI funding.
Gary co- founded IPMLLP a specialist asset management firm which serves investors, projects and opportunities in the sectors of infrastructure and technology. He is currently a non-executive director at Infinity Energy, Board Advisor for Iona Capital, which manages funds for institutional investors that provide equity and subordinated debt into renewable infrastructure projects in the BioEnergy sector. He is a co-founder and director of InfoSec K2K, a cyber-security company focusing on regulated industries such as finance, utilities, telecoms and the public sector. He is a former Director of John Laing plc, the UK listed international infrastructure investment company with investments in Europe, Australasia and North America. Gary was Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of the manager of US$500MM InfraMed Infrastructure fund based in Paris targeting transport, power and urban infrastructure projects in the SEMED region. Gary was a former management consultant with PWC and BDO Binder Hamlyn, Head of Project Finance at merchant bank Guinness Mahon, Director/Shareholder of a specialist Trade Finance entity and has held senior finance positions with Dow Chemical and Allied Lyons. He holds a Teacher’s Certificate from Durham University, is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
